kids are in bed by 9 so thats my market time and been using quantower with dxfeed to replay the days session es and nq just going back through the price action from the open and the tick data is complete so the replay actually feels real whereas i used to get gaps in the history with my old setup which made practice sessions kind of pointless so this fixed that
Clean tick data is non negotiable for volume profile trading and tried 3 other providers before this but dxfeed is just cleaner with less noise and less gaps which makes a real difference when ur building profiles
Ok so i use quantower and was on my brokers bundled data for like 8 months before i finally gave up on it because the dom kept freezing during busy periods exactly when you need it not to freeze so switched to dxfeed and the first thing i noticed was the dom just worked with stable updates and no freezes and the market by order book data made sense so its been 3 months and i havent had a single issue recommend
my mate kept telling me to try bookmap with dxfeed and i resisted for ages bc it seemed complicated but finally did it and yeah seeing where the big orders are sitting before price gets there is just different
ok so i was skeptical at first bc ive been burned by data providers before. but dxfeed through ATAS has been solid for like 6 months now. CME depth is actually useable. not perfect but way better than what i had
look i dont care about fancy features. i just need the data to be accurate and show up on time. dxfeed does that. thats literally all i ask and they deliver. simple as
switched from another provider whos name ill not mention lol. feed stability alone was worth it. had maybe 2 hiccups in 9 months both got fixed same day. for a prop desk thats acceptable
If you trade using volume profile you need clean tick data. dxFeed is the cleanest I’ve found at this price. Non conflated stream for volume studies that detail matters and most retail providers don’t offer it

Opra feed is solid been using it for vol surface work for a few months and its way more consistent than the other source i was using before
