Easy to set up, understand and use. Also, i had a problem with a transaction and they were so helpful, communicating and sorting it out for me in the same hour.
I only use it for budgeting not ready for it to be my main account.
All was going well until my account was blocked for no reason i had over £1000 wich i could not access for 7 weeks. I was told it was to keep me secure? my bank has never done anything like this. i will never keep money in my Monzo account again.
Never would have thought I’d have opted for reviewing a bank but been using Monzo for almost 4 years and itš been a great experience. They’ve got a real focus on helping members save money and provide tools that really help you confront and get on top of your financial situation.
They’re also very transparent when things occasionally go wrong as well as right – as a Software Engineer it gives me a lot of confidence to see how these things are put together. Customer Support has also been great on every occasion too – able to pretty immediately solve my problem and do so with some personality rather than reading from a script. (How many other banks do you exchange emojis with?)

So far so good, no problems, no accounts being frozen which is a recurring theme on social media. Time will tell, but for now, they get 5 stars.
